Obituary for Leonard B. "Peck" Isbister

Leonard B. "Peck"  Isbister
Leonard (“Peck”) Bishop Isbister, DDS, 90, passed away on November 18, 2013 in Fairhaven Nursing Home in Sykesville. He was born on August 8, 1923 in East Orange, NJ to the late Leonard Currie and Mary Esther Bishop Isbister. Dr. Isbister was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Catherine (nee Bucher) Isbister.
Dr. Isbister lived and practiced dentistry in Bel Air, Maryland for many years. He served as an officer in the United States Maritime Service during the Second World War and as an officer in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by: his children, John and wife Sandra of Ellicott City, Daniel and wife Melissa of Bethesda and Martha and husband Peter Dederich of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Steven and wife Katherine, Gillian and husband Christopher McCown, Alex, Nicholas and Connor; great grandson Calvin; and sister Margaret Lofland of Orcas Island, Washington.
