Obituary for Bernard Howard Carter

Bernard Howard Carter, 102 of Reisterstown passed away on April 6, 2014 in FutureCare Cherrywood, Reisterstown. He was born on November 7, 1911 in Richmond, VA to the late Walter Howard and Ethel Ann Corbin Carter. He was married to Anna Carter.
He had worked in the dry cleaning industry and worked for Glyndon Laundry for over 30 years.
He is survived by daughters; Betty Costley of Carroll County, MD and Esther Clifford of Colorado, sons; Clarence and Michael Carter of Reisterstown, sisters; Myrtle Carter of Virginia and Elizabeth Bing of New York. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter; Anne Mack, sons; Walter Corbin, Bernard Howard and Eugene Randall Carter.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown on Saturday from 10am to 11am. Service will begin at 11am. Interment will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Bond Ave., Reisterstown. Online condolences may be made at www.ElineFuneralHome.com
