Obituary for John B. O'Neill

John B. O’Neill, 95, of Taneytown passed away on July 11, 2014 at Lorien Assisted Living. He was born in Pikesville, MD to the late John B. and Mrytle O’Neill. He was married to Lillian C. (nee Dittmar) O’Neill.
He had worked as a Supervisor with BGE. He was a member of the VFW-Westminster and a Charter member of the VFW-Florida. Also a member of the Disabled American Veterans-Thurmont.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian C. O’Neill; sons, Michael O’Neill of Glyndon and Thomas O’Neill of Finksburg; grandchildren, Casey, Katrin, and Shannon O’Neill. Great grandfather of Liam, Hailey, Matthew and Jack. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Mary Nessel and Catherine Dwyer.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Sunday 3-5pm. Graveside service will be held on Monday, 10am at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.ElineFuneralHome.com
