Catherine M.  Muia
Catherine Marie Muia of Baltimore, MD was born in Carbondale, PA on April 14, 1921 to the late Samuel V. and Angela M. Pettinato Minnitti, She passed away on September 27, 2014 at the age of 93.
Catherine was born and raised in Carbondale, PA and moved to Baltimore after the death of her husband Joseph J. Muia.
Catherine graduated from the Benjamin Franklin High school and worked in the garment industry for 20 years. She was a devoted member of the Mount Carmel Catholic Church and now remembered as a loving wife, mother and great grandmother. Catherine was a great friend and a compassionate person who brightened the lives of many.
Catherine is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Wagner and her son Joseph Muia and his wife Lillian; her grandchildren, Joseph Farber and his wife Paola, James Muia; Kristen Pulido and her husband Jorge and her great grandchildren; Gabriella Farber, Isabella Farber, Yeardley, Farber, Alysa Farber and Oren Pulido.
Services will be held at the Holy Trinity Monastery, 8400 Park Heights Avenue Baltimore, MD on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am at the Holy Trinity Monastery. A graveside service will be held at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Carbondale, PA on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 1:00pm
