Obituary for Edward A. "Al" Schutz Jr.

Edward A. "Al"  Schutz Jr.
Edward A. (Al) Schutz, Jr., 82, of Westminster, formerly of Reisterstown passed away on March 23, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 19, 1933 in Baltimore to the late Edward A. Schutz, Sr. and the late Adda (nee McFaull) Schutz. He was married for 59 years to Linda Schutz.
He had worked as a meat manager for several supermarket chains. He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church, singing in the choir and serving in leadership roles and the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by sons Michael and his wife Esther Schutz of West Grove, PA and David and his wife Susan Schutz of Loveland, Ohio; grandchildren Zachary and his wife Karen Schutz of Burke, VA, Ben Schutz of Loveland, Ohio, Carissa Schutz of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Luke Schutz of West Grove, PA; great grandson Logan Schutz of Burke, VA; brothers Daniel Schutz of Catonsville and William Schutz of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sisters in laws Mary Schutz of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Doris Schutz of Laguna Beach, CA; dear friend of Gail Schutz of Kokomo, Indiana; cousin of Sue Murray of Gainsville, VA; nieces and nephews Pam of Richmond, VA; Karen of Eldersburg, MD; Kirk; Kris of Catonsville, MD; Jeffrey (Lisa) of Bel Air, MD; Melissa Prusak (Jeff) of Bel Air, MD; Jami (Leo) Winterling of Selbyville, DE, and many grandnieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Richard Schutz.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Friday 3-5 & 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday 11am at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 705 Main Street, Reisterstown. Interment will be private.
