Obituary for Paul Zepp

Paul Franklin Zepp, 82, of Hampstead, died on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore . Born August 26, 1930 in Westminster, he was the son of the late Ivan and Harriett (Schaffer) Zepp. He was the husband of Althea Snyder Zepp, his wife of 60 years.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 - 1951, and had been a farmer most of his life. He was a member of American Legion Post 200, Hampstead; VFW Post #467; and the United Coon Hunters Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters - Pamela Nicewarner and husband Mike Nicewarner of Charlestown, WV, Debra Eckard and fiance Dave Collier of Germantown, MD, and Paula Zepp Shipley and husband Charles R. Shipley, Jr. of Westminster; sons - Russell Zepp and wife Stacy Zepp of Manchester, MD, Paul T. Zepp and wife Judy Zepp of Manchester, MD; brother - Richard Zepp of Glen Rock, PA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Cassandra Jane Shipley on March 21, 2013.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Carrollton Church of God with Reverend David Meador officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Carrollton Church of God, 2151 Bethel Road, Finksburg, MD 21048.

Arrangements are by the Eline Funeral Home, Hampstead.
