Obituary for Earl Eugene Grace
Earl Eugene Grace, Jr., 94, of Hampstead, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home. Born July 29, 1920 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Earl and Sarah Harriet Childs Grace. He was the husband of the late Betty Lee Hessenauer Grace, to whom he was married 69 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and had been a mail handler with the U.S. Post Office. He attended Hampstead Baptist Church and was in the Masons.
Surviving are his daughter, Margaret H. "Peggy" Owens; granddaughters, Donna Taylor and husband David of Helotes, TX, Charlene Rowe and husband Eldon of Hampstead, MD, Tara LeDesma and husband Rene' of Coloma, MI.; grandson, Martin H. Grace and companion Terry Clary of St. Petersburg, FL; twelve great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. He was predeceased by a son Earl E. Grace III.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hampstead Baptist Church, P.O. Box 95, Hampstead, MD 21074; or to Carroll Hospice, 206 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
