Thomas Motter Lambert, 70, of Manchester, died Sunday April 12, 2015 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born May 28, 1944 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Carrie Louella Motter Lambert. He was the husband of Nancy M. Hughes Lambert, his wife of 50 years.

He had worked as an electrician and as a construction superintendent. He had been a member of Carroll County Electrical Association and Carroll County REACT, Team 3202. He enjoyed amateur radio operations, operating under the call sign KB3EMN.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sons and daughters-in-law, Eric W. and Deborah Lambert of Reisterstown, MD and Joseph D. and Kate Lambert of Hanover, PA; grandsons, Justin Thomas Lambert, Nicolas J. Lambert, Andrew P. Lambert and Liam A. Lambert; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert Emory and Carole Lambert of Haymarket, VA.

He was predeceased by a sister, Grace L. Brettle.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Glanville officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
