The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Hood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My condolences to George's family, and friends who have called him dear. Although I only met George once, I know he was very special to a lot of people, and that he will be truly missed. We shared a birthday, and for the last 5 or so years when we had my celebration at home in TX, before I blew out the candles, I'd wonder about his birthday. So glad he found joy for his too!
