Jill Louise Ayres, 51, of Westminster, passed away Thursday June 25, 2015 at the Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.

Born May 20, 1964 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wesley A. and Audrey Louise Davidson Johnson. She was the fiancé of William C. Mielke, Jr. of Westminster.

She had been employed as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Hampstead.

Surviving, in addition to her fiancé, are daughters, Jennifer Ayres of Upperco, Jannae Cross and her husband Donald Cross, Jr. of New Oxford, PA; son, John Ayres, Jr. and his wife Samantha of Hanover, PA; grandchildren, Lilian Ayres, Tyler Ayres, Brooklyn Ayres and Rylan Ayres; sister, Jan Graf of Hampstead; brothers, James Johnson of Manchester, PA, Jeffrey Johnson of Rock Hall and Jerry Johnson of Manchester, MD.

The family will receive friends Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery, Hampstead.
