Jane Nute Cloud Carr, 89, formerly of Severna Park passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Long View Nursing Home in Manchester, MD. Born February 13, 1926 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rose and Monroe L. Nute, Sr. who was President of the Lions International in 1954. Twice married, she was the wife of the late E. G. "Buzz" Cloud of West Chester, PA and the late Hammond "Skip" Carr.

She grew up in Kennett Square where she graduated from High School in 1944 and attended Penn State University and Beacom School of Business. Her interests included the Presbyterian Church, Anne Arundel Medical Center Auxiliary, Severn School Mothers Groups, bridge, singing and travel.

Mrs. Carr is survived by son, David E. Cloud II and wife Susan of Newark, DE, daughter, Susan C. Priest and husband Bob of Reisterstown, MD, son, Timothy N. Cloud and wife Laurie of Severna Park, MD and stepson, H. Scott Carr and wife Kathi of Severna Park, MD, a brother, J. Thomas E. Nute of Millsboro, DE, grandchildren Sara M. Cloud Deal, David E. Cloud, III, Robert W. Priest, III, Elizabeth "Betsey" A. Priest, Gregory W. Cloud, Katlin M. Cloud, Michael S. Carr, Timothy Nute Cloud, Jr., Christopher Carr and Molly Carr and great grandchildren Drew Priest, Brennan Deal and Jaedyn Walker.

Private interment will be held at Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Longview Nursing Home "Activity Fund", P.O. Box 390, Manchester, MD 21102.
