Obituary for Monica Lorraine "Mabel" Kaufmann

On July 27, 2015, 84, Monica Lorraine “Mabel” Kaufmann of Finksburg, daughter of the late Lee James and Anna Virginia Smith passed away. She was the mother of her beloved son Lee James Kaufmann. Sister of the late Charles Smith, Oliva Healey, Clara Benesch. Mother in law of the late Suzette Kaufmann.
She was born and raised in Baltimore City and was a graduate of Eastern High School. She was an Adult Advisor to Young People’s Fellowship, St. John’s Huntington-Baltimore City for many years. Ms. Kaufmann was a retired Federal Employee.
She was a life member and past president of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company and the RVFC Ladies Aux. She served as Treasurer for the Baltimore County Firemen’s Association for 14 years and was a member of the Baltimore County Firemen’s Association-Hall of Fame.
Services and interment private.
