The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of MSGT James Knights, Jr. USMC can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: SSgt David Rafferty
Condolence: The world is a lesser place without Chet. I worked with him in the last month of our 1968 tour in Vietnam. I remember when he baked Marine Corp Birthday cakes for all of the 1st 8in Howitzer Battery (SP) and each was flown with our CO to each of our remote sites to celebrate our Birthday. Also worked with him on USO shows through November and December. He was a great man and a proud Marine.
Semper Fi brother. RIP
