Obituary for Joan Emily Feustle (MacFaddin)

Joan Emily  Feustle (MacFaddin)
Joan Emily Feustle (nee MacFaddin ) of Reisterstown, MD passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Sun Valley Assisted Living in Westminster. Joan was born on October 20th, 1931 in Delaware to the late John W. and Virginia Grove MacFaddin. She was the wife of the late John Robert Feustle.

Joan was a 1950 graduate of the Maryvale Preparatory School and continued her education at St. Vincent’s College of Nursing (Los Angeles) earning a nursing degree in 1957. After graduation she specialized in the care of children and adolescents before transitioning to a devoted and loving career in geriatrics. She retired in 1995.
Joan was a fun loving grandmother and loved all animals; her cats, dogs and especially her miniature horse “Half-Pint”

Survived by daughters, Dottie and her husband Peter Townshend of Westminster, Joan and her husband Tom Reynolds of Reisterstown; son, John Robert Feustle, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Reisterstown. Also survived by her grandchildren; Paige, Christopher, Jacob, David, Mary, Kyle and Josh. She was predeceased by her twin sister Jean MacFaddin.and her step mother Dorothy MacFaddin
Friends may call at ELINE FUNERAL HOME 2901 Bloom Road (at 91) on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:00am. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations in Joan’s honor may be made to the Baltimore County Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
