William Royden Long, 91, of Finksburg, MD passed away on February 10, 2016 at his home. He was born on December 25, 1924 in Glyndon, MD to the late William R. Long, Sr. and the late Marian (nee Carney) Long.
Mr. Long had worked at the MD Jockey Club.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Kresslein of Finksburg; son Kevin Long of Finksburg; son Richard Roberts of Hampstead; Grandfather of Greg Kresslein, Lori Hanusin, Marc Roberts and Mike Roberts. Great grandfather of Lauren, Madison and Ella Roberts and Morgan, Reese and Lilah Kresslein and Hayli Maloney, Peyton, Parker and Brooklynn Roberts. Predeceased by daughter Deborah Long. Brother of the late LaRie Howard, Bettie Shaffer, Doris Zimmerman and Myra Griffith.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 3-5 & 7-9pm and on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 9:30-10:30am. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
