Obituary for Catherine Irene "Cassie" Wheeler (Buchman)

Catherine "Cassie" Irene Wheeler, 72, of Manchester, and formerly of Hampstead, died peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born January 28, 1944 in Hampstead, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Beatrice (Laughman) Buchman.

She had been a resident at Longview Nursing Home for the past year and enjoyed the crafts, social hours and bingo and all her friends there.

Surviving are her daughter, Kathy L. Mann (Bryant) of Hampstead; sons, Gary Wheeler, Jr. (Crystal) of Finksburg, Mark Wood (Vickie Spencer) of Owings Mills; grandsons, Bryant Mann (Kim), Brent Wheeler; granddaughters, Brittany Mann Palmer, Mersadies Lane Wheeler, Kaylee Marie Wheeler; great-granddaughters, Jamison Palmer, Sophia Wheeler Roth; great-grandsons, Owen Mann, Tyler Mann.

She was predeceased by sisters Patricia Sellers and Beatrice Wheeler.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated. Services and interment are private.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
