Catherine Margaret (nee Spampinato) Hooper, 93, of Windsor Mill, passed away on July 10, 2016 at the Dove House, Westminster, MD. She was born on January 3, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to the late Alfred and Margaret (nee Nichol) Spampinato. She was married to the late William T. Hooper, Jr.
She had worked in retail sales for J.C. Penney. She served in the Army-Air Corp during WWII.
She is survived by her children Nancy Hooper Banett, Margaret “Peggy” Hooper Moan, Edie Hooper DiPietro and Lisa Hooper Hays; grandchildren Andrew Moan, Stephen Thomas Serio, Kristen Banett-Marx, Nicholas Michael Serio; great grandchildren Ethan, Lauren, Kaya, Eva, Thomas and Felicity; siblings Mary Spampinato, Elizabeth Lafferty, Margaret Stallings; predeceased by son Thomas L. Hooper and brothers Philip and John Spampinato.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Thursday 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, 10am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, MD. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
