Mary Pauline Steger (Belt)
Mary Pauline Steger, of Hanover, PA, and formerly of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born October 2, 1923 in Arcadia, MD, she was the daughter of the late O. Russell and Gertrude (Wisner) Belt. She was the wife of the late Claud David Steger, her husband of 41 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Eastern Star, Piney Branch Golf Course, and the North Carroll Senior Center.

Surviving are stepdaughter, Gwyneth Hann, husband Ronald of Hampstead, 2 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchldren.; nephews, Daniel Harris, Gregory Harris and Steve Hardesty; nieces, Marie Elizabeth Nichols and Joan Leatherwood.

Per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, 1:00 pm at the Hampstead Cemetery. Pastor Matthew Schenning will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15801 Trenton Road, Upperco, MD 21155.
