Obituary for Edith Stocksdale Nuse
Edith Stocksdale Nuse, 99, of Hanover, PA and formerly of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Born August 4, 1917, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida (Richards) Stocksdale. She was the wife of the late William Edward Nuse.
She was a life member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she had been active in her younger years. She retired from the B & O Railroad.
Surviving are her neices, Sharon Kelley of Hanover, PA and Sharon Chilcoat of Westminster; nephew, Maurice Good of Westminster, MD; step-daughter, JoAnn Leutner of FL and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Thomas and William Stocksdale and a sister, Helen Chilcoat.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2016, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, with services to follow. Rev. Carl Myers will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Arcadia.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15801 Trenton Road, Upperco, MD 21155.
