James Thomas  Pipp Jr.
James Thomas Pipp, Jr., 70, of Hampstead, peacefully went to be with God, on October 18, 2016 at LongviewHealth Care Center, Manchester. Born July 22, 1946 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late James T. Pipp, Sr. and Jessie R. (Maxwell) Pipp.

He served in the Army for 8 years with 2 tours in VietNam and was in the National Guard for 4 years.

He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hampstead. He was a member of North Carroll Senior Center and retired from Comcast Cable as a warehouse man. James also worked at Armco Steel and he loved to cook.

Surviving are his wife Dana K. (Cless) Pipp, sons Daniel K. Pipp, Christopher L. Pipp and friend Briget, Nathan V. and wife Yvonne Pipp; daughters Alexandra S. vonGries and Teresa A. and husband James D. Hudson. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sisters, RoseAnne vanLeuwen, Mary Elizabeth and Dr. Herbert Muncie. Numerous nieces, nephews and their children.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1373 North Main Street, Hampstead with Pastor Andrew Carr officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mark's Parish House Renovation Fund, P.O. Box 249, Hampstead, MD 21074.
