Shirley Jean Parker, 78, of Hanover, PA passed away on January 12, 2017 at the Dove House Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born June 4, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Edna (Smart) Sefton and beloved wife of the late Nelson James Parker.

She was a faithful follower of Christ who enjoyed watching old movies, reading, gardening, singing & dancing. Her family remembers her as being a good friend who was there in good times and bad. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her three daughters: Corinne Magasic and husband Mario of Shamong, NJ, Diana Shedlock and husband John of Manchester, MD, Deborah Geare and husband Wayne of Bel Air, MD; son, Mark Parker and wife Michele of Hanover, PA; three grandsons: Ryan Meehan, Noah Parker, Alex Magasic; five granddaughters: Brooke Kessler, Rachel Parker, Gabriella Magasic, Dellaney Parker, Hailey Parker; two step-grandsons: Ben Cluster, Alex Cluster; sister, Denise Masimore and husband Gary of Gettysburg, PA; eight great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Rylee, Noah, Cody, Stephanie, River, Ireland, and MacKenzee.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 12:00 pm at the Eline Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
