Darryl Gholston, Sr., 50, of Reisterstown passed away on January 11, 2017. He was born on March 14, 1966 in Baltimore, MD to Milton Gholston, Sr. and the late Willa Bell (nee Manual) Gholston.

Darryl attended Franklin Elementary, Middle and High Schools. He was active in social activities and sports. At a very young age Darryl learned to love the Lord, and most recently joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Darryl loved his family and enjoyed spending Saturdays with his dad. He also took pleasure in helping his family in any way he could.

In addtion to his his father, he is survived by son Darryl Gholston, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; daughter Dashonda Gholston of Baltimore, MD;granddaughter Nevaeh Gholston; sister Deborah Guled of Fort Washington, MD; brother Milton Gholston, Jr. of Joppa, MD; brother Michael Gholston of Woodlawn, MD; brother Marvin Gholston of Catonsville, MD; brother Wayne Gholston of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and close friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 20th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Eline Funeral Home in Reisterstown, MD (at the corner of Franklin Blvd.) and Saturday, Jan. 21st from 10:30 until the time of the service at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4117 Lower Beckleysville Rd., Hampstead, MD, 21074
