John Thomas Anderson, 88, of Randallstown, MD died on March 16, 2017. He was born on October 18, 1928 in Savannah, GA to the late Frank and Julia (nee Stevens) Anderson. John was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years Laureen (nee Pearson) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson worked for BGE as a pipefitter and later as a supervisor. He taught Judo and was an 8th Degree Black Belt, recognized by the Kodokan of Japan.

He is survived by his daughter Jean Ellen Anderson (Dino) of Randallstown; son Mark Anderson of Pasadena; son Michael Anderson (Diane) of Eldersburg; grandchildren Ashley, Heather, Jackie, Tyler, Brooke, John and Lisa; 4 great grandchildren; brothers Sam Anderson (Ruth), William Reese and Richard Reese (Linda); sister in law Peggy Lea Gosnell (Virgil); predeceased by son John Smith.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Saturday, March 25, 1-3 & 5-7pm. Service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 10am at the funeral home. Interment in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
