John Paul Pass, Sr., 87, of Hampstead, passed away on March 26, 2017 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born January 13, 1930 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Ralph and Katherine (Kimball) Pass. He was the beloved husband of Dolores June (Cranston) Pass, his wife of 67 years.

He had been a construction worker with Whiting-Turner Construction Co. and was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church. He enjoyed trains and NASCAR.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Linda Pass Cooper and husband Wesley, of Hampstead; son, John Pass, Jr. and wife Sue, of Powhatan, VA; granddaughter, Katie Pass.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Chris Brammer officiating. Interment will be in Forest Ridge Cemetery.
