Marion Phear Strandberg, 83, formally of New Windsor, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Westminster. Born on November 13, 1933 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Doris Phear.

She was a secretary to the head of the tax department of Mercedes Benz in Montvale, NJ for 20 years. She also was a lifelong Methodist. She enjoyed singing, knitting, reading and Civil War history.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Morrison and her husband Don of Reisterstown; a son, Mark Strandberg of Encinitas, CA; grandchildren, Mary and Ben Morrison; a sister, Elizabeth McMillan of NY and a brother, Bob Phear of Cape Cod, MA.

The family will have a memorial visitation at Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Rd. (@ Franklin Blvd.) on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9pm. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's association at alz.org.
