Alice Olive Poole, 93, of Reisterstown, passed away on April 24, 2017. She was born on September 27, 1923 in Cañon City, CO to the late Harry Turner and Harriet (nee Brace) Turner. She was married to the late James S. Poole, III.

Mrs. Poole was a school principal for numerous schools within Baltimore County and held many graduate and post graduate degrees. She loved all animals and flowers.

She is survived by son John M. Poole and his wife Chris of Lakewood Ranch, FL; sister Lucy E. Norton of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren Joe, Benjamin, Susan Massey. Predeceased by husband James E. Poole, III; son James E. Poole; grandson Jeffrey.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Friday 10-11am. Service will be held 11am on Friday at the funeral home. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Senior Citizens Center in Westcliffe, Colorado or MD Public Television or Gilchrist Hospice.
