William Albert Kaufman, Jr .of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Born October 8, 1927 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Albert, Sr. and Miriam Gordon Kaufman. Twice married, he was the widower of Rita M. Kaufman, who died in 1999 and the husband of Audrey Jeanne Bishop Kaufman.

He was a graduate of Patterson Park High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Baltimore. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the navy.

Prior to retirement, he had worked as a distribution manager for Lever Bros. (Unilever).

Bill was a member of Hampstead American Legion Post 200 and was a member and past president of North Carroll Senior Center in Hampstead
He loved golfing and playing Pinochle.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters; Kim Clinedinst and husband Allen of Hampstead, MD, Kathleen Costa and husband Jeffrey of Bel Air, MD two grandsons, Michael Clinedinst and fiancee Chrisjohnna Lee, Mason Clinedinst and wife Jenna.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1:00pm at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery - 2901 Taylor Ave with Chaplain Nancy Ginsberg officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Carroll Hospice, Inc. or American Legion Post 200.
