Roy Bryant Adkins, 75, of Westminster, passed away on June 1, 2017. Born November 8, 1941 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Roy W. and Mary (Biggs) Adkins and the beloved husband of Beverly Janis Adkins.

Roy was the owner and CEO of Adkins Contracting. Roy built a thriving three generation family business through hard work, dedication and perfection in workmanship. Even with the demands of running a business, family was always at the center of Roy’s life. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He was a devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather & great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roy is survived by his wife Beverly Adkins; daughter and son-and-law, Rhonda and Timothy Johnson of Westminster, MD; son and daughter-in-law; Mitchell and Colleen Adkins of Westminster, MD; son and daughter-in-law; Louis and Tracy Adkins of Hampstead, MD; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 1:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD. Interment will be in Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery.
