Condolence From: Miss Donna
Condolence: So very sorry for your loss, Bill, Danny, and Eric. It is extremely difficult to explain in words what Miss Sue means to me. She came into my life when her husband, Donald Hoffman, hired me to give Miss Sue Piano Lessons at a local music company. It was learned that the lessons were therapeutic for her. It progresed into my having session with her in her home. It was on the shared piano stool that we bonded. Her sweet spirit, saddened heart, wonderfully determined and feisty personality came into my heart and stole it. She had the ability to make me laugh out loud often without even trying. As her challenged condition progressed, Mr. Hoffman asked me to be her companion once a week to take her on outings. She and I were elated! lol. We had the most joyous times on our outings :). Pictures are shared on here. Swinging on swings at the park, walks in downtown Westminster, lunch at wonderful restaurants of her choice, movies at her home, and downtime at my home. As her condition worsened, I was asked to care for herfull time during the weekdas at their home. It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to spend more time with her. We bonded further over simple things like washing and brushing her hair for lengthy periods of time. She loved that. It soothed her and made her laugh at my corny jokes. Miss Sue taught me how to live out what it means to love someone unconditionally. Expecting nor wanting anything in return. My goal daily with her was to do what I could to make her genuinely happy. To see her eyes light up and her face show the happiness in her heart with a big smile and little giggles. I'd give anything to hear her say, "I love you to pieces" to me or anyone else again. It appeared to be on reserve only for those close to her heart or touched her tenderly in some one. I was honored to be one of them. Thank you, Miss Sue, for allowing me to be your friend and for becoming mine. I will see you and Mr. Hoffman again when it is my turn to go Home. I am so glad to know that you are laughing out loud again! :)
