Life Story for Florence Coyle Aversa

Florence Coyle  Aversa
Florence Coyle Aversa of Pikesville passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on November 8, 2017 at Stella Maris Hospice. Florence was born on September 10, 1933 in Owings Mills to the late James Mitchell Coyle and Eleanor Bossle Coyle. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Aversa, Sr.

Mrs. Aversa is survived by her children and their spouses, Deborah and her husband Craig Stickles of Columbia, MD, Diana and her husband Mark Reuling of Naples, FL, Carrie and her husband Roger Woizesko of Catonsville, Amy and her husband David Reynolds of Pikesville, Richard Aversa, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Pikesville and Matthew Aversa and his wife Deborah of Glenville, PA. Siblings, Gordon Coyle of Westminster, MD, Thelma (Sissy) Fertitta of Owings Mills, Nathan Coyle of Lutherville, Eleanor “Dolly” Jones of Randallstown. Grandchildren: Gregory Buchman, Jennifer Hanaway Taggart, Emily and her husband John Murphy, Adelina Knudsen and her husband Peter, Lucas Reuling, Leah Maurer, Chelsea Woizesko, Andrew Woizesko and his wife Erin, Lauren McDermott and her husband Charlie, Michael Woizesko, Vincent Reynolds, Dean and Genevieve Aversa. Great Grandchildren: Anthony Buchman, Nicholas Reuling-Lee, Johnny and Tommy Murphy, Ashley and Zachary McDermott and Cory and Brad Taggart. She was predeceased by her siblings, Alice Rizzo, Betty Wirts, John Coyle, James Coyle, Naomi Hundertmark, Robert Coyle and David Coyle.

Florence, a longtime resident of Sudbrook Park, was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3960, Knights Angels, Jokers Card Club and the Silver Liners of St. Charles. She was a volunteer for Our Daily Bread and enjoyed playing Mah Jong but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.

Friends may call at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) Reisterstown on Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 1pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Pikesville. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery.
