Frances Carole Hildebrand, 81, of Westminster, passed away on November 27, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born October 16, 1936 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Kathleen (Geraghty) Heckrotte.

She had been a social worker and a crossing guard prior to retirement.

Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Eaton and husband Raymond of Westmoreland, TN; son, John Russell Hildebrand of Harve de Grace; grandsons, Raymond C. Eaton and wife Rachael of Westminster, Michael Eaton of Westminster; granddaughter, Tisha Eaton of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Kathleen McCormick of Phoenix, MD and great grandchildren Sydney,Wyatt and Colton.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to Barrier Free MD, P.O. Box 2751, Westminster, MD 21157 (They assist autistic adults) or to Meadow Creek Farm, 3000 Rohrbaugh Road, Hampstead, MD 21074. They provide horse riding therapy for children and adults.
