Harry J. Heise, Jr., D.D.S., 73 , of Westminster, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Inspirations Memory Care of Westminster.

Born August 27, 1944 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Harry J., Sr. and Mary Louise Torrence Heise.

Dr. Heise was a practicing dentist. He served his country honorably as an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, attaining the rank of Captain. Following his military service, he had a dental practice in Laurel. After closing that practice, he worked for the Maryland State Department of Corrections. Finally, he practiced part time with Meyers & Nickolas, LLC in Westminster until his retirement in 2014.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen P. and Virginia Heise of Westminster.

Friends may call on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg. Funeral services and interment will be private.
