Mary Lee Driver, 76, of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Born June 20, 1941 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ellwood J. and Mary (Shipley) Beitler. She was the wife of the late Walter G. Driver.

She had worked in the communications department at Carroll County Hospital prior to her retirement.

Surviving are her son, Walter "Jay" G. Driver, Jr. of Middle River; daughter, Patricia Lynn Driver of Hampstead; granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Marx of North Ridgeville, OH, Amanda L. Craig of Taneytown, and Kathleen Faith Bravo of Hampstead; cousin, Frances Smith of Sykesville and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Melissa Rudolph officiating. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge.
