Cindy Dawn Dickson, 51, of Hampstead, passed away on February 4, 2018 at her home after an extended illness. Born November 28, 1966 in Westminster, she was the daughter of George Brooks of Hampstead and Edith (Biddinger) Eckenrode of Louisiana. She was the beloved wife of Scott A. Dickson, her husband of 22 years.

She was a 4 H volunteer and club leader and was known as "4H Mom", "Soccer Mom" and "Horse Show Mom" by many of the young people who knew her and loved her.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents is daughter, Alexis Dickson of Hampstead; sisters, Debbie Thompson of Hampstead and Krystal Harrell of Hornbeck, LA; brother, Timothy Eckenrode of Denver, CO.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, MD. Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, 11:00 am at the Eline Funeral Home. Interment in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery.
