Taylor Harden  Greer
Taylor Harden Greer, 96 , of Hampstead, MD died Monday February 5, 2018 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD.

Born April 11, 1921 in Clinchfield, VA, he was the son of the late William and Mattie Cornett Greer. He was the husband of the late Laura Violet Gwin Greer, who died in 2007.

Prior to retirement in 1999, he had worked as a porter for the Henderson & Webb properties management company. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 256 in Parkton, MD.

Surviving are sons, Paul Douglas Greer of Akron, OH, David Allen Greer of Forest Hill, MD and Gary Wayne Greer of Mathias, WV; daughters, Norma Jean Lam of Hampstead, Mary Alice Winneberger of Hampstead, and Linda Diane Greer of Perryville, MD; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 10, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. Interment will be private.
