Doris P. Hoffman, 82, of Upperco, MD passed away on February 26, 2018 at her home in Upperco, MD. Born January 14, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Marion (Hetrick) Peregoy and the devoted wife of the late Thomas Franklin Hoffman.
Doris was a 5th District Elementary School Teacher where she enriched the lives of many young children. She had a keen interest in genealogy and volunteered her time at the Reisterstown History Room helping people connect with their past.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hoffman and daughter, Teri Hoffman.
She is survived by her son, T Michael Hoffman and wife, Mary Ann of Loxahatchee, FL; two granddaughters: Diana and Kati Hoffman.
A visitation will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Eline Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Arcadia, MD.
