Joan G. Wilson, 89, of Hampstead, MD passed away on March 17, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born March 2, 1929 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (MacKenzie) Burke and the devoted wife of Philip J. Wilson.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of Hampstead American Legion Post 200. Joan enjoyed crafting, painting, gardening and had a great love for cats. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Philip J. Wilson of Hampstead, MD; two daughters: Pamela J. Clark of Hertzdale, CO, Stephanie L. Smith of Dundalk, MD; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main St., Hampstead, MD on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. A private family interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
