Geraldine “Gerry” Romaine Werner Geist, 80, of Hampstead, MD, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 31, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA. Born November 20, 1937 in Glenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Myrna (Markle) Werner and the devoted wife of Robert Richards Geist.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hampstead, Miss Carroll's Doll Study Club; Lebanon Chapter 108, Order of the Eastern Star and did volunteer work at Homewood at Plum Creek. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, doll and antique collecting, and most of all helping those in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Brett R. Geist and brother, George Werner.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert "Buzz" Geist of Hampstead, MD; daughter, Renee G. Adams and husband Chuck of Charles Town, WV; two granddaughters: Megan and Rachel Adams and sister-in-law, Gene Zepp.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with an Eastern Star Service offered at 8:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St, Hampstead, MD. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 11:00 am, preceded by a visitation at 10:00 am at the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1373 North Main Street, Hampstead, MD with Pastor Andy Carr & Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
