Garland H Martin, 66, of New Oxford, passed away on Monday May 21, 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle in Carlisle, PA. Born August 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Jean Martin. He was the beloved husband of Katherine (Buchanan) Martin, his wife of 47 years.

He had been a self employed contractor and enjoyed watching Ravens football, dirt track racing and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Shawn Martin and wife Lisa of Carlisle, PA and Scott Martin and wife Tammy of York, PA; grandchildren Caitlin Fox-Martin, Savannah Martin, Scott Martin, Andrew Cox and Michael Cox. Also survived by his siblings, Karen LaRoy, Ken LaRoy, Billly Martin, David Martin and Druce Martin.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD. Services will follow at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
