Raymond Oliver "Ray"  Fidler
Raymond Oliver "Ray" Fidler, 82 , of Finksburg, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.

Born August 19, 1936 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles Josiah and Mary Elizabeth Bosley Fidler.

Mr. Fidler had worked as a produce manager and night captain for the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company for over 40 years.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond E. and Delia Fidler and Kenneth L. Fidler, all of Baltimore, and Mark J. and Regina Fidler of Clayton, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia L. and Jeffrey Green of Shrewsbury, PA; sisters and brother-in-law, Hilda Gerhart of Sparks and Barbara and Robert Fair of Freeland; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his companion of over 27 years, Sharon E. Donavin and her family, daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Timothy Saunders and their son Landon Saunders, and Judy and Charles Smith and their daughter Amanda Smith, all of Westminster; and son, Scott Donavin of Dundalk.

He was predeceased by his former wife, Patricia A. Fidler; four sisters and eight brothers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 6 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Amy Lewis-Rill officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
