Obituary for Clyde Utz

Clyde Eugene Utz, 80, of Hanover, PA died on February 23, 2013 at the Hanover Hospital . Born June 19, 1932 in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Millard and Treva (Klinedinst) Utz. He was the husband of Nancy Frederick Utz, his beloved wife of 60 years.

He had served in the Army from 1953 - 1955 and had been a supervisor at 3M for 32 years. He was also a realtor for Long & Foster for 20 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 200, Hampstead.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son - Bradley Eugene Utz of Hampstead; daughter - Karen Turner and her husband Michael of Hampstead; brothers - Francis Utz of Hampstead, Nevin Utz of Las Vegas, Marlin Utz of Manchester, Wilbert Utz of Mount Airy; a sister, Maretta Warner of Hampstead; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Rogers of Westminster, Cory Rogers of Hampstead, Angela Turner of Hampstead, A.J. Young of Taneytown, Bradley E. Utz-Young of McSherrystown and Emily Utz of Hampstead.

He was predeceased by brother Maynard Utz and a granddaughter Melissa Turner.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead. Funeral services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Home Care & Hospice, Inc., 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202; or to your local hospice center.
