Obituary for Kathleen Patricia Yox (Swoboda)
Kathleen Patricia Yox, 75, of Westminster, passed away on October 10, 2015 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born March 26, 1940 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Catherine Ann Mattison Swoboda. She was the wife of Henry B. Yox, her husband of 55 years.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a beautician for several salons. She enjoyed art and was learning to paint at Fink School of Art in Reisterstown.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughters and sons-in-law, Lauren P. and Terence Wade and Theresa A. and Kerry C. Love; and granddaughter, Mattison Patricia Love, all of Westminster.
She was predeceased by brothers Edwin and Norman Swoboda.
The family will receive friends Tuesday October 13 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg (at the corner of Bloom and Gamber Roads). A funeral service will be held on 11 a.m. Wednesday October 14 at the funeral home, with Pastor Art Monroe officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
