Edith C. Linthicum, 89, of Reisterstown, passed away on December 8, 2017 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born March 4, 1928 in Carroll County, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Melvie (Yingling) Stephan. She was the wife of the late Wilbur Erle Linthicum.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Bounds Bakery & Catering. She was a member of the Boring Ladies Auxilliary, the Glyndon Ladies Auxilliary, the North Carroll Senior Center and had been a Sunday school superintendent for Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law Benny and Kathy Linthicum of Reisterstown; daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie and Norman Wilson and Donna and R. Wayne Ruby, all of Manchester. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kristin Dubsky officiating. Interment will be in St. John's (Leister's) Cemetery.
