Peggy Lou Kerns, 89, of Hampstead and formerly of Salisbury and Randallstown, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born December 30, 1928 in Princess Anne, MD, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Nessick) Smullen.

Surviving are sons, Michael Kerns and wife Stephanie of Hampstead, MD, Thomas Kerns and wife Laurie of Hampstead, MD; daughters, H. Diane Boward of FL, Kimberly Miller and husband Kevin of Shrewsbury, PA; grandsons, Joshua Kerns, Matthew Kerns, Troy Miller, Conor Miller, Jason Kerns, Nicholas Kerns; granddaughters, Bethany Miller, Samantha Kerns. She was predeceased by brothers Richard and Donald Smullen and son-in-law, Rick Boward.

Visitation will be held at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, on Tuesday January 9, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Interment will be in Grace Episcopal Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, MD at a later date.
