Obituary for David Carroll Georg

David Carroll  Georg
David Carroll Georg, 89, of Hampstead, passed away on April 27, 2018 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born April 10, 1929 in Owings Mills, he was the son of the late Oswald and Anna (Brenneman) Georg. He was the beloved husband of Louise Arlene Georg, his wife of 67 years.

He served in the US Air Force from 1946 - 1949, and was a life member of American Legion Post 200. An avid golfer, he was a member of Piney Branch Golf Club and was past president of Hampstead Lions Club. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Prior to retirement, he had been an accountant with A.E.S. He loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, David D. Georg and wife Debbie of Monkton, Craig M. Georg and wife Kim of Bel Air, and Glenn C. Georg and wife Fa of Hampstead; daughter, Lisa L. Schickler and husband Randy of Simpsonville, SC; brother Roger Georg and wife Margie; sister-in-law Martha Georg; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Beloved brother of the late Wayne Georg.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 30, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hampstead with Rev. Andrew Carr officiating. Inurnment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
