Helen Marie  Dickens
Helen Marie (Miller) Dickens, 84, of Hampstead, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Long View Health Care Center in Manchester. Born January 29, 1934 in Millers, she was the daughter of the late H. Walter and Ella (Lippy) Miller.

She was a life long member of Millers United Methodist Church and had worked at Black & Decker, Sunset Restaurant and Dean's Restaurant.

Surviving are daughters, Theresa Yeager and husband Jay of Hanover, Sharon Schaeffer and husband John of Manchester, Bonnie Haberstick and husband Randy of Lake Worth, FL, Stacey Walsh and husband Lee of Hampstead; son, Buddy Rhoten and Connie of Manchester; sister, Lois Neumann of Hanover; grandchildren Cherie Thayer, Derek and Casey Yeager, Shannon Thompson, Randy Haberstick, Jr., Amanda Smith, Amber Butterhoff, Ryan and Carly Walsh and 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Louella Sanders, Ruthetta Redding, Ethel Detter, Pauline Roth, George Henry Miller, Walter "Junior" Miller, Charles Ivan Miller, Herbert Miller and Evelyn Nott.

The family will receive friends at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead on Tuesday May 15, 2018, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Road, Manchester with Pastor Blake Smarr officiating. Interment in Millers United Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157; the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093 or to Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Road, Manchester, MD 21102.
