Condolence From: Alan Ekland (Eek)
Condolence: I met Dave back in 1978 at a local concert at the Lakefront in Columbia Maryland. I soon learned that we had a connection through music as we liked the same stuff - progressive rock. In the early 80s we worked together and would drive to sites all over Maryland to inspect telephone poles for cable TV that was rather new on the scene. We cut up and had so much fun driving to sites from as far east as Maryland's Delmarva Peninsula to as far West as Frederick Maryland and just about all points in between. In fact I remember a stop at the Dumler house one hot summer afternoon while inspecting that neighborhood's telephone poles. We had a blast for several years while working for KCW Consultants. I'm devastated at learning of his loss. He made a real impact on me, he didn't criticize or belittle you if you made a mistake - while learning the job measuring the cable mid-spans I made plenty of mistakes before getting it right. I'll never forget the ride back home after work from Frederick Md up and down those Maryland mountains during a blizzard in sub freezing temps with the windows down screaming, "Wahhhhhhgh," because we were torturing ourselves in the fierce wind and cold. It lasted like 20 seconds or as long as we could stand it and Dave would say "Okay Crispy (his nickname for me) that's about enough of that!!" He was also a great drummer, very imaginative. We enjoyed listening to jazz and progressive music in that little 4 speed of his. I hate that we got separated over the years. We spent a lot of quality time together back in 1982-1988. I'll never forget him. R.I.P. Dave.

Condolence: It is Father's Day and I wanted to share what a super Dad David was. He was loving, kind, patient and always there for Eva. He was passionate about things that mattered the most and Eva was on the top of the list. His love of music, sense of humor and zest for life have passed along to Eva as well as his many other admirable attributes. We miss & love you, David, and remember you fondly on Father's Day !!!

Condolence: Casey, I'm so truly sorry for the loss of your husband, David. He fought the good fight and has received his robe. Be encouraged and know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Take comfort in Psalm 121, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and Earth." Take care and be blessed.
