Obituary for James William Howard

James William  Howard
James William Howard, 79, of Hampstead, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2018 at Westminster Health Care Center. Born August 2, 1938, he was the son of the late Robert and Martha (Wisner) Howard. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Bossom) Howard, his wife of 49 years.

He served in the Air Force from 1956 - 1960. He was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School and also graduated from University of Maryland and George Washington University. Formerly he was vice president of E.I.L. Instruments, Inc. He was an active member of Gideons International and traveled all over the world.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Joel Howard and wife Jennifer and Mark Howard; sisters, Virginia Wright and husband Frank, Rosemary Lippy, and Jayne Feldman and husband Charles; a brother, Robert Howard; grandsons, Gabriel Howard and Elliott Howard. He is also survived by four nieces, Elizabeth Holman, Diana Rudolph, Heidi Sprinkle and Mary Lee Nail. He was predeceased by a sister Joyce Price and a brother-in-law Wilson Lippy.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, where services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, 12:00 pm. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Arcadia.
