Carolyn Lee Whitney, 74, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday July 18, 2018 at her home.

Born July 2, 1944 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Leroy and Rose Lee Sullivan Whitney.

Prior to retirement, Carolyn had worked as a technician for Becton and Dickerson in Hunt Valley. She enjoyed taking care of her family, reading and crocheting. She loved her pets.

Surviving are her brother, Richard Whitney of Manchester; daughter, Misty L. Strevig of Hampstead; grandson, Shawn Strevig of Westminster; granddaughter, Erin Strevig of Hampstead; and great-granddaughter, Paisley Strevig of Westminster.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead with the Rev. Rodney Gross officiating.
