Brenda J.  Rohrbaugh (Lang)
Brenda J. Rohrbaugh, 71 of Hampstead, Maryland died on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at North Pines Assisted Living in Manchester, MD.

Born on Friday, February 7, 1947 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of John M. Lang of Manchester, MD, and the late Elda Lang McVicker who predeceased her in 2012. Husband Samuel C. Rohrbaugh predeceased her in 2009 and she missed him dearly every day.

Brenda had love for life and made friends everywhere she went. She loved to be outside “digging in the dirt” in her gardens. She enjoyed cooking and eating, especially pie and ice cream. She was proud of winning a gold medal at the Maryland State Powerlifting Championship in 2012. Brenda loved her family and friends most of all and enjoyed being with them whenever she could.

She was most recently employed by Stambaugh Chevrolet as an administrative assistant, and was formerly employed by PHH Fleet America. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Snydersburg, and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 200.

Surviving family members are son, Randy D. Rohrbaugh of Melrose, MD and longtime friend JoAnn Grubbs; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnna M. and Joshua L. Crone of Reisterstown, MD; and sisters, Beverly A. Martin of Hampstead, Diane F. Aberts, and Sharon K. Wright both of Manchester.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Eline Funeral Home located at 934 South Main St., Hampstead, MD 21074 with Pastor Michael Adams officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main St., Hampstead, MD.

She received exceptional and loving care in the final year of her life at North Pines Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157, or to the charity of your choice.
